Little minds of our future

With the lovely weather I was very pleased practicing outside today. The spot where I usually practice is a an outside space I share with a primary school; a place where teachers, children and parents find their way around.
*
As I was practicing, most children ran past my mat, attending to their own business. Some children stopped for a few seconds, wanting to know who else they have to share their sacred playground with. Some of them watched for a minute, made fun of me with their friends, got bored quickly and left.
*
And some of them stopped in awe, curious as to what I was doing, mouth open, watching me with full concentration. And then there was some of them that joined me, following and imitating my movements without asking any questions, moving their body with pleasure and happiness, sometimes looking at my face to seek approval. Happy, free.
*
And for me, I enjoyed the company, hoping my humble practice today might have served as an inspiration for those young people that are creating their own life and the world we live in.
*
And when Im old I will hopefully be watching them, doing the same thing ;).
*
Namaste, keep practicing and pass it on!
