Lieve Allemaal,

I would really like to start by saying thank you. Thank you all for creating Abyasa Yoga with me in 2013. Thank you for your willingness to find and recreate yourself, a healthy body and a healthy mind, by coming to Abyasa’s classes. Thank you for being the great people that you are, it really is a pleasure to teach every single one of you.

Thanks to the universe for putting all of this together, stimulating each and every single one of us to return back to our source, where we belong, and reminding us of what we need to know in order to get back there.

So let us celebrate a new year. Even though every ‘new year’ (as we celebrate it) is a symbolic concept, that doesn’t mean its a meaningless one. Because it exists in our minds, therefore it exists in our actions. We believe this could be a new beginning, therefore we set off tons of fireworks, scare off the evil spirits and wish great things for the people that we love.

“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”

- Mahatma Gandhi

Something I really enjoy about celebrations like this is the connection between people, between ‘strangers’, opening up and wishing each other all the best! The warmth that is being spread because people believe. The shared consciousness when we all look at the sky, hear the loud bangs honoring all of what happened in the past year and creating something new, in the positive energy feeling: I wish you all the best on your path, on your own special way.

So, I wish for you the trust in yourself that you are moving in the right direction, trust your intuition. I wish for you the positive energy that comes from making choices and using your will power to follow your path. I wish for you the mindfulness about your choices and commitments, witnessing your own unique process and holding on to your original intention. I wish for you Oneness between your soul and your life, between your intention and your action.

All is possible. There are no limitations to the self
except those we believe in.
Happy New Yoga Year Forever.

So, my dearest Abyasa Yogi’s: its time to share a little of what is being created for the new year.

Ofcourse this class will be all about saying thanks to the past year, honoring of what has been, cleansing our bodies and our minds from what we do not need anymore and setting an intention for something new. Come at join us at 20.00!

As many of you know I was trained to teach Yoga in one of the beating yoga hearts of India: Mysore. As the learning process never ends and Im very keen on learning and studying more, Im very happy to tell you that: I’m going back!

This happy event will take place in March 2014. I will be taking another anatomy course as well as another advanced asana and pranayama course.

But, fear not, most Abyasa classes will be covered by a great yogini who I’m lucky to have met. I am very sure her style of teaching will bring about another spectrum of change. A great possibility to develop more guys!

More info will follow very very soon.

So, I hope you are as excited as I am about starting classes again.
